Meet Dr. Scott

Professionally:

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University and completed an American Psychological Association-accredited fellowship at the University of Illinois. I've held previous positions as a therapist, supervising psychologist, and faculty member at several universities across the U.S., including here in greater LA.

I treat a wide variety of psychological concerns and have experience working with people from all backgrounds of life. My specialties include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship concerns. I’m incredibly passionate about LGBTQ wellness and love helping other gay or bisexual men thrive.

My dissertation examined how we use online dating and navigate boundaries within romantic relationships. I’m a licensed psychologist California (29242).

Personally:

I chose to enter this profession after my own experience with truly impactful and transformative therapist who I saw during my time in college. She helped me to view my past in perspective, increase my feelings of authenticity and community, and identify a life trajectory that honored my values.

I currently live on the west side of LA and can be found hiking, biking, and trying new restaurants. I'm immediately in love with every dog I meet and have a miniature dachshund therapy dog named Roxy.
