FAQ & Resources for Immigrant Clients

You may be feeling impacted by the current events in Los Angeles, in which federal agents are detaining members of the community whom they suspect to be undocumented immigrants.

Social justice has been part of Framework’s mission statement since its inception, and we emphatically stand behind immigrants in our community. In addition to creating space for our clients to process the recent events in the therapy, here are some additional resources:

 Access to Healthcare:

You have a right to access healthcare regardless of immigration status. Clients are not asked to document their immigration status to access our services. 

Scheduling Flexibility:

If you feel unsafe coming into the office, telehealth is an excellent option. Please contact Hello@FrameworkPsych.com to request your appointments be moved to telehealth.

Confidentiality:

Legally and ethically, we cannot confirm or deny whether someone is a client at our practice, or share information about their treatment, without the client’s permission or without an order directly from a judge.

Por motivos legales y éticos, no podemos confirmar ni negar si alguien es cliente de nuestra consulta, ni compartir información sobre su tratamiento, sin su permiso o sin una orden judicial.
