Fees & Insurance

California

Framework Associates strives to provide affordable, accessible psychological services from exceptionally qualified therapists. Our fees are outlined below.

In-Network:

We accept the following insurances in-network.

What does “in-network” mean?: Seeking therapy from an in-network therapist ensures you pay the lowest possible fee, and most clients only pay a small copay following each session. We take care of 100% of the billing and claim submission process for you.

*Please note, we are not in-network with Blue Shield of California or Magellan. Please see below for more information.

University Insurance:

We accept the student health insurance provided by your university. Students typically pay $0-$10 per session and are required to obtain a referral from their university before receiving therapy off campus. You can learn more about the referral process at LMU, UCLA, and USC.

Standard Fees / Out-of-Network:

If your insurance is not listed above, Framework is out-of-network. Our standard fee is $160 per session payable by credit, debit, or HSA card.

What does “out-of-network” mean? Framework is unable to bill your insurance directly for your services because our practice is not a member of your plan’s network. You would be charged $160 following each session and provided with a monthly “superbill” as your receipt. You may then mail the superbill directly to your insurance who will reimburse you according to your out-of-network benefits.

Still Feeling confused about your cost for therapy?

Please submit an appointment request so that we may prepare a personalized quote for your services.

We also recommend you download our Explanation of Benefits Guide, which includes a detailed description of copays, deductibles, etc.

AUXILIARY FEES:

  • Services requested of your therapist outside session, such as consultative collaboration or writing letters of support, will be prorated to your therapist’s standard hourly fee.

  • Printing requested by the client is charged at 10¢/page.

  • Mailing confidential documents necessitates USPS Priority Mail at $15.
