Alexis Long, M.A.

Anticipated: Psychological Associate - fall 2025

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Appointment Locations: North Hollywood, CA & Online (for CA residents)

Ms. Long earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the Alliant International University and is currently completing the final year of training required for her Doctorate. She offers individual and couples therapy that is psychodynamically/psychoanalytically-informed. She believes that healing takes place in the context of a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship and strives to provide that therapeutic atmosphere for all clients. With a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience, she offers a collaborative and supportive space where clients can bring their multitudes—their pain, confusion, anger, sadness (and joy!)—without judgment. She is an LGBTQIA+ specialized therapist and deeply acknowledges the role of culture and intersectionality on our lived experiences. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, tending to her plants, and indulging in reality television.

We anticipate Ms. Long will be a psychological associate (lic. pending) supervised by Dr. Scott (29242). We invite you to reach out to our Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
